IP Power(For 9258)
Q1.IP Power 9258 reboot/power down with no reason then 9258 can not be
reached by same IP any more.
Ans:
As DHCP will allocate IP once every few days, to prevent the connected device reboot (Server. PC and ....etc.),
please use "Static IP" to have 9258 connect with Internet.

IP Power will reboot as user change IP/ Gateway/ Port on the other site by IPEdit or Website -- it will happen. For instance, it similiar to MS Windows98 also need system reboot if change IP.
After reboot, most users can not find IP Power because of IP Change, user need to use IPEdit find new IP again.

Q2. How do I reset the device if I forget the password?
Ans:
1.) In the login page use the username: ˇ§super userˇ¨ (There is a space between super and user)
2.) Do not enter a password and click ˇ§Okayˇ¨.
3.) Turn the power off on the device for about 30 seconds and then turn it back On
4.) This should set the 9258 back to manufacturer default settings

Default Login/Password: admin/12345678

Q3. How do I reset the device back to manufacturer default settings?
Ans:
1.) Turn on the 9258.
2.) Press the two buttons located on the front panel of the device and hold down.
3.) You should hear 3 consecutive beeps with the third beep (beep, beep, and BeeeeeeeeP) being longer than the other two.
4.) Once you have heard the 3 beeps release the two buttons and turn off then turn on the device
5.) Everything will revert back to factory default settings:
Username: admin
Password: 12345678
IP Address: 192.168.10.100
Default Gateway: 192.168.10.1

Q4. What do I do when I receive a cookie timed out problem when I log in to my device?
Ans:
When you encounter a cookie timed out error. You will need to clear the cache on your internet explorer.

Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x for Windows
1.) From the Tools menu (for version 4.x, the View menu), select Internet Options....
2.) Choose the General tab.
3.) In the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click Delete Files....
4.) To confirm the deletion, click OK.
5.) In the Internet Options dialog box, click OK.

Internet Explorer 7
1.) From the Tools menu, select Internet Options....
2.) Choose the General tab.
3.) Under Browsing history, click Delete....
4.) Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files....
5.) Next to "Cookies", click Delete files....
6.) Click Close, and then click OK to exit.

 
IP Kamera (For 9000ˇB9000AˇB9060A)

Q1.How can I reactivate the camera? How can I change it to default setting?(For 9060A Only)
Ans:Use reset.
Please turn switch to ON position for 5 second and then turn back to OFF position to finish reset. OFF ˇ÷ON (wait for at least 5 second)a OFF

Q2.If you found your device does not work. Please check below?
Ans:
1.Did you see the green and yellow light shown on the side of device?
If not, please switch to on. (In right side is "on")

2.Can you see the IP address of the device through IPEdit?
If not, please use reset. Reset is a small hole next to switch.
Please use something thin to poke it. Then try to search ip address of device through IP Edit again.

3.If you could see the IP address but cannot enter the web page, then please check your segment. You could refer to manual in CD.

4.Be sure the setup of hardware is done.

Q3.Occur "error installing ikerenl.exe" massage when install the driver.
Ans:
When auto run disc, select IP_KamVid 1070, the wizard will show up.
Please just click "open" directly, then it will start to install successfully.
If you insist to save it then please copy with whole file,Disk-1 in Tool
file and execute "Setup" in Disk-1.
 
Q4.Did not getting a feed from the camera.
Ans:
1.Please be sure the power is on position.
The light of RJ-45(Green), Power(Yellow) will be on.

2.As confrim power is on. Then please use IPEdit to search ip address.
If can find ip address in IPEdit, click it (ip address) and enter the webpage which will request you to key-in username and password.

If cannot enter web page successfully which means ip address and segment is not match.
Please check the segment you set and refer to manual in CD.

Q1. Is it possible to change IP ports on the 9100A plus (and any IP 9xxxx series)?
Ans :You can change the port of 9100A Plus with the IP EditV.rar file or in the 9100A web page.

Q2.Does it allow recording live camera feeds to a remote PC without motion detection?
Ans:It can record Live Camera from remote PC by setting in right click of your mouse, we also provide special designed AP -Infinite Cam for friendly recording interface.

Q3. If recording a live camera feed what is a approximate size of the file for a hours worth of recording?
Ans:Suggest use " 320 x 160 " which is Internet standard for long hours recording, of course, your Hard Disk need to be has enough capacity to store.

Q4. Use 9100A with "windows media encoder" it is working successfully but can't take audio?
Ans:You may check:
1) Need a audio source like from DVD Player or VHS or DV Camcorder or TV Box to connect on 9100A ( DVD Player use cable with 3.5Fai to RCA jack , TV Box use cable with 3.5Fai to RCA jack )
2) Configuration -- " enable the " Audio"
3) You may need a DVD Player - Audio jack to connect.

Q5.Now need the Video stream to see the Pictures in another Program. And need to know the URL of the image that the server's. http://URL/GetData.cgi file draws from.
Ans:GetData.cgi is:

Q7. Can see the IE web page and the setting pages work fine. But the video goes Black every other second or two. In addition, I can only connect one camera into the IP Network Server. If I connect 2 cameras it will switch back and forth showing two cameras on 1 window. My cameras are color camera but viewing under the software it is black and white.
Ans:" Round Robin " setting is on, please go to Configuration to "delete" the function of Round Robin.
Basically, can connect up to 4 video sources or 4 cams, then select CH 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.
9100A Plus is good on both " NTSC " and " PAL " with video signal auto-dection, please check video source and CCTV Cam -- both has to use same system
Camera (IP cam or CCTV cam) -- need to set to " NTSC " not " PAL ", most devices have both inside, even the DVD Player. Video flicking - check your cable and make sure the connector is fixed. The video source input must be same format -either all NTSC or all PAL.
As default as round robin for all four channels, you can see all four-channel display in turns. Choose " split 4 " and you can see all four video show in same screen. You can select "Fix " to check each channel or choose "Round Robin" to check 2 or 3or 4 channel.

Q8. For motion detection is it necessary to connect a external motion detector?
Ans: Both models have Motion Detection function built inside the device trigged by the movement and e-mail you the message or video streaming, no need external device. It can record in MJPG format, playback in AVI file with our special design AP - Infinite Cam.

Q9.Is there any firmware upgrades other than the version 2.34 listed on your website?
Ans: IP Video 9100A Plus has an improvement on " Round Robin " function start in June, 2005 production & V2.36 V2.37 , but it's hardware improvement, it can't update on " internet ", we are still working and try to make it in software part, if we could do it, we will put in our website as in news section.
Q10. I have recently purchased an IP9100A with version 2.36 firmware. In 640x480 mode, the audio and video do not match. 320x240 audio sync is good. Would it be possible to have audio sync in 640x480 and a new mode for 704x480?
Ans: The IC Chipset is CMOS solution and Motion JPG format, max 25 fps, thru WAN/LAN, due to bandwidth effect, and to be "SYNC" is very difficult for network transfer.
Q11. Show up iKernal install error when installing Infinity Cam software.
Ans: When auto run the CD, select IP_KamVid 1070, the wizard will show up. Please just click "open" directly then it will start to install successfully. If insists to save it then please copy with whole file, Disk-1 in Tool file and execute "Setup" in Disk-1.
Q12. how I can set the video server with my dyndns address and what to set in my belkin router to monitor remotally.
Ans: Please refer our Router suggestion for setting and PPPoE (ADSL) setting.
You have to set up the port and dynamic IP address in your router.

If want to work with router, you have to set with FixIP.
DDNS only can work with PPPoE (ADSL).

For DDNS :
you have to register in www.dyndns.org -- only this site is good for DDNS

Q13. I have enabled Motion detection, but nothing happens, no email, no ftp..
Ans: To send message or e-mail on Movement:
1) Set up your appointed E-mail address
2) Configuration --need to mark " v " on the Motion Detection to " Enable "
You can try using another
3) Server, there is possibility your server not allow you or block, try other server.
4) Check User name / password and receiver e-mail address .
Q14. To change the round robin scan rate.
Ans: You can adjust the channel update time lag in "Continuous" .
Q15. It does not save view settings between browser sessions.
Ans:Some setting will be saved in server ex,FTP,Mail setting......
Some will be saved in Personal Computer. ex,Splits, Mode......
(Some setting will depends on different Personal Computer.)

Q16.Time on the video screen shows 1 hour ahead of the time in the system settings screen.
Ans: Please change your time setting in "Time zone".
To select "NTP", then can change the time zone setting. And press, "adjust".

Q17.If I specify a folder path (no file name) and folder doesn't exist does it automatically create that folder.
Ans: For example, set Username = ipc
Then have to set a file named "ipc" in FTP file server, therefore it can be uploaded into ipc file automatically.
IPC file must be existed, then upload file will be saved in path, ~\ipc\temp.
Set like below:
Username :IPC
Upload path : \ipc\temp.
If set like below:
Username :IPC
Upload path : \temp
And IPC file also does not exist, then the upload file will be save in \temp and it will occur error.
In sum, the username you set, that file must be existed. Otherwise it will occur error.

Q18. Cannot get in WebPages.
Ans: Can not get in web page is probably from following two reasons:

1. If cannot find IP address, probably update the firmware but
not successfully by interrupt during update.
2. If can see the IP address but cannot get into the WebPages, please check if the segment of IP address is same as your PC.
Also please refer to below:
Note:
* If can not get in the 9100A web page, please set the segment of IP
9100(A) to be same as your PC.
* You can get your PC network information - IP Address, Subnet Mask and
Default Gateway by step: start a execute a key "cmd" in dialog aˇ@key
"ipconfig" in MS-DOS mode

The last digit of IP address can be any number between 1~254, but can not be same as your PC.
If using in any PC, just use HUB and type the 192.168.0.100 in Browser or use "ipedit.exe " then you can get in the web page.
* Same SEGMENT : The first 3 number of IP address is same -
XXX.XXX.XXX.abc. The part of XXX is same. Fro Example : IP address is 192.168.1.100 ,ˇ@then another IP address 192.168.1.123 is the IP in same segment .ˇ@

Q19.Cannot record in 4 separate file.
Ans: 1.Please uninstall "IP Family".
2. Be sure your Active X version is 1,0,1,7,
(In C:\WINNT\Downloaded Program Files and check "Webwatch class")
If not, please remove old version.

Then try to enter the website again and setup the Active X when it auto show up. That will be ok to record in 4 files.
Please try above steps.

Q20.Unable to locate the camera, the massage from "Infinity cam's" setup show access denied.
Ans:Segment in wrong setting. IP address must be in the same segment.
If your PC is 192.168.0.123 ,then 192.168.0.1 /192.168.0.2,/ 192.168.0.4 ----- 192.168.0.xxx called in the same segment.
But192.168.100/203.145.2.3------------was not in the same segment.
If you set different segment with PC, you will never see the video you set.
Please refer to manual in CD to set.
Q21.Unable to change IP from IP edit software.
Ans: Please select the "Static" to change and press "submit" after you change your setting.

Q22.How to apply to Internet to get the video like AVIOSYS's live demo - can see video online in PC at anyplace.
Ans: Using DDNS.
If want to use DDNS with IP 9100A , IP 9100A port setting must be 80.
(But router port setting also must be 80)
So can use DDNS with IP 9100A using PPPOE without router.
DDNS only can work with PPPoE (ADSL).

Q23.How to reset IP VIDEO 9100A? What can I do when I forget my password?

Click four source and use fix mode. Split choose 4.
Also try more source to connect, ex DVD player, VCR, Camera...and so on.
Try to plug in each video in.
